Check back to see the August winners... Service Update: work dock open for business and valet/launching will begin!(posted 6/9/2011)
Boats will be launched in the order originally scheduled. We will be working overtime to get you on the water as quickly as possible. There will be no exceptions to the 3 day limit on our docks as our biggest hurdle will be dockspace. You can help us and your fellow boaters by:
All of us at the Shipyard thank you for your patience throughout this unusual spring. Our Docks are Now Open and Have Electricity!(posted 6/2/2011) While we cannot launch boats at this time, we have launched a make shift ramp to allow access to the docks. If you have migrated from southern waters or can trailer to the nearest boating access your dock space awaits. We have power and fresh water on the docks. Our fuel dock is still underwater, but the electrical has been approved, so as soon as the water goes down we can flip the switch on. Treadwell and Point Bay Marina's are pumping fuel. We will be posting status updates as they occur. Lake level magic number is 101.5!(posted 6/2/2011) In an effort to get you on the water as soon as possible, yard crew in hip waders and armed with long metal pipes have been looking for compromised areas in the work dock roads. While the lake level has to drop to 101.5 ft before we can determine the full extent of any damages, we are actively checking, planning, and repairing as the water level allows. Electricians, fuel service technicians, cleaning services and excavators have been lined up and are ready to assist with repairs at a moment's notice. Go to http://nh.water.usgs.gov/echo_gage/measurements.htm for real time Lake data measured at the Echo Center in Burlington. Get your launch contracts in to reserve your space in the queue. We will post updates as they occur. |
